Please bring your membership badge and your payment card to pay for trips.

The 602 Uno bus travels from Radlett to the meeting - 'Queens School' Bus Stop. Click 602 timetable to see the timetable. Concessionary bus passes issued in Hertfordshire can be used on this bus at any time of day. Quite a few Members travel on it, catching the 9:01am or 9:31am at the Watling Street Bus Stop near Radlett Station and returning on the 12.15.

The Events Committee would like to make you aware of our booking procedure for theatre outings.

We are informed early of group rates available for new shows and as such we have to reserve a fixed number of tickets. We then offer them for as long a time as we can and book people in. Unfortunately we then have to let our members down if they request tickets at a later date, as we have already booked an appropriate size coach and costed the outing accordingly.

If an events is shown as “sold out” please ask the events organiser to add your name to the waiting list.

It is the personal responsibility of all members and other travellers to decide on the level of their capability as to whether they should participate in any particular u3a event or trip. Members and other travellers must ensure they are fully aware of the itinerary.

If you are paying for other members at the monthly meeting, please let the organiser have a list of the names and the events/outings you wish to book.

It is imperative that we have contact details for every outing participant. If you do not have a mobile, then a committee member must be given contact details for your companion on that outing.

Please wear your u3a badge whenever you attend an event. This must have an ICE (In Case of Emergency) number on the back so that we can contact a friend or relative if there is a problem.

ALL EVENTS AND OUTINGS MUST BE PAID FOR, ONE EVENT AT A TIME, WITH A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD HERE -->CardsEvents then follow the instructions.

OR by cheque after checking availability with the event organizer. No cash please.

It is important when booking an outing to please first check availability with the events organizer and have your name added to their list. This represents a firm commitment to attend this outing and you are expected to pay within a few days.

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE OUR HARD WORKING COMMITTEE HAVE TO CHASE YOU FOR PAYMENT.

You will not have a confirmed place on our lists until your payment has been received. 

We do not automatically offer refunds for any cancellations by our members . If you wish to cancel, please check with the event organiser to see if there is a waiting list as anyone on such a list should be given first refusal.  If there is no waiting list, it is up to you to resell your tickets to another u3a member.

We cannot accept direct payments to the Radlett & District u3a Bank Account
