Money Group

Status:Active, open to new members
Leader:
When: Monthly on Thursday mornings
3rd Thurs monthly 10am - 12 noon
Venue: Vision Hall

Date and time - Third Thursday morning each month from 10-12 at Vision Hall, Radlett. Free parking is available on site.

We have been running for over eight years and the group has proved to be very successful and popular. We cover any subject related to money, whether spending, saving, enjoying or protecting our hard-earned assets.

At the Group meetings, members are encouraged to share their knowledge and a light hearted approach makes the mornings worthwhile and enjoyable.

We do not give financial advice – that is the job of Professionals. Money plays an important part in all our activities, whether we like it or not.

Over the past few years we have had professional experts to speak about financial advice for investing, for making Wills, for setting up Powers of attorney, for setting up Trusts and schemes to reduce Inheritance Tax.

But the main merit of having a Money Matters Group is that it gives us an opportunity to learn from the experiences of others; whether about scams, smart meters, insurance of house, car, health, or travel. Remember if an offer looks too good it might be a scam - take care and be cautious rather than sorry. If you have any money-related topic or experience you are happy to share at the meeting, please  contact the group coordinator using the link above.

There is a small charge to cover delicious refreshments and room hire.

New members are always welcome; if you would like to join the group please  contact the group leader using the link above.
