Looking@Art groups visit art collections in and around London for talks on specific topics by art lecturers. There is usually much more to a painting than mere wall decoration, and professional lecturers direct our attention to aspects of history, technique, symbolism etc. behind the picture.
Looking@Art membership is full and at present, we are unable to offer any more secured places on the group as galleries and museums restrict the number of visitors in any one group.
However, each month, there are usually three or four places available due to members’ holidays, illness or previous family commitments and we are happy to fill these with ad-hoc members who are always welcome. If you would like to join one of the visits, please let me know at the end of the previous month so that we can put your name on a short waiting list. Please check with the up-to-date programme and contact me here using the link above for further information
Ad-hoc members are asked to pay £5 for each visit.
Members make their own way to the venue and travel directions are given for each visit.
